Honor Caucus: Why Accept Our Invitation?

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC Sigma Xi, is pleased to join a group of the country’s oldest and most prestigious collegiate honor societies, dedicated to continuing the recognition of academic excellence in all of its forms. In joining forces with Phi Beta Kappa (Academic Honor), Phi Kappa Phi (Grade-Point-Average Honor), and Omicron Delta Kappa (Outstanding Leadership Honor) societies, Sigma Xi is proud to announce a new initiative—to better inform the administrations of academic institutions nationwide of the incredible honor and value that an invitation to lifelong membership can hold for the individual student. Sigma Xi’s own honor of inclusion in such esteemed company is immeasurable and has provided a fresh dedication to our mission of continuing to identify the best and brightest students, faculty, and researchers. Each of our members is an integral part of a tradition of excellence that spans centuries—and with the help of fellow honors societies like ours, we look forward to continuing that tradition into the future.
